In the Dirt // Pt 2: Studies

These works are done in my sketchbook using mud and colored pencil. I quickly paint shadows with dirt found nearby as they dance on the paper, then define and fill in areas with brown color pencil. They are a continuation of the photographic project titled ‘In The Dirt’ completed in 2013.
